In the menu for these pages we tried to pay homage to the Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) logo using CSS. I always enjoyed DEC's logo and the variations it went through over the years. The menu isn't perfect but not bad for being done entirely in CSS.

For more information on the history of the DEC logo take a look at Ned Batchelder's site. Ned mentioned on that site that I found a PostScript file with his original comments in it for him.
